Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners invites you to join our patient access team in an on-site role in Cushing, OK. You will handle MRN assignment, verify eligibility, collect insured information, and guide patients with compassionate service to support accurate and timely admissions and billing processes.

We look for at least 1 year of customer service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a CRCR certification within 6 months (company paid).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• CRCR – required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid)

Responsibilities

• Assigns MRNs, completes medical necessity/compliance checks, collects insurance information, processes physician orders, uses overlay tool while delivering excellent customer service.
• Operates the telephone switchboard for inbound/outbound calls and inter-office communications.
• Adheres to policies and provides compassionate customer service.
• Meets point-of-service goals as assigned.
• Utilizes quality auditing/reporting systems to ensure accounts are accurate and may include accounts for other employees or departments.
• Conducts audits of accounts and ensures forms are completed timely to meet audit standards with statistical data for leadership.
• Pre-registration of patient accounts prior to visits, including collecting demographics, insurance, and financial responsibilities.
• Explains consent forms, obtains signatures, and distributes patient education documents.
• Reviews insurance eligibility and selects plan codes to support POS and billing to improve clean claim rate.
• Screens medical necessity using ABN software to inform Medicare patients of possible non-payment.
• Distributes designated forms and pamphlets.
