Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry level Patient Access Specialist for on-site work at Ardent - UT Health Quitman in Quitman, TX. The role focuses on admitting patients, verifying information, and guiding them through pre-registration and consent processes.

You will review eligibility, collect insurance data, and use ABN software to ensure compliance and accuracy while delivering excellent service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Willingness to innovate and adopt new processes, including AI.
• CRCR certification within 6 months of hire (paid by the company).

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Explain and obtain patient signatures on consent and education documents.
• Review eligibility and verify insurance in the system to assist POS and billing.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and handle inquiries with professionalism.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographic and financial information.
