Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for all patients at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, FL. This on-site role requires engagement with patients, insurers, and hospital staff to ensure accurate data capture and smooth registration.

Responsibilities include MRN assignment, insurance verification, ABN usage, and patient education. Candidates should have 1+ years in customer service and a CRCR certification within 9 months of hire;

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CRCR certification within 9 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Meet mission and goals and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity / compliance checks.
• Operate telephone switchboard and provide excellent customer service with compassion.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and inform Medicare patients of non-payment.
• Support POS billing and collections and maintain audit readiness.
• Explain consent forms and distribute required patient education documents.
• Review insurance eligibility and enter benefit data to support billing processes.
