Qualifications

• 6 months of healthcare experience in business office, hospital or medical office setting
• 1 year of experience with patient scheduling, insurance authorizations and referrals, etc. in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits
• Complete registration with accurate demographic and insurance information and collect patient liability if known
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned accounts during registration downtime
• Provide basic customer service and greet patients professionally
