• Maintains a queue of accounts flagged for registration or billing follow-up.
• Independently review and correct claims and charge errors rejected or denied due to registration or data issues.
• Contacts patients to collect or clarify workers’ compensation, accident, or insurance details including claim numbers, employer, or authorization information.
• Documents communications, tracks responses, and updates patient account records with accuracy.
• Coordinates with employers, insurance carriers, attorneys, or adjusters to obtain required documentation.
• Verifies and obtains subrogation or third-party liability information to support accurate billing.
• Meets departmental KPIs for claim resolution, registration completeness, denial reduction, and accounts receivable performance.
