Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for an onsite role in Cushing, OK. The position focuses on admitting patients, collecting insurance information, and ensuring compliance while delivering exceptional service.

You will handle MRN assignment, eligibility checks, consent explanations, and POS-related documentation, with emphasis on accuracy, compassion, and teamwork. CRCR certification within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes.
• CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid)

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for calls.
• Adhere to policies and provide excellent customer service with compassion.
• Meet point-of-service goals and utilize auditing/reporting systems.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographic/insurance information.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Review eligibility responses and support POS and billing processes.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and distribute designated forms.
