Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in Cushing, OK seeks an entry level Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties and support hospital services. The role requires excellent customer service, accurate data capture, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include registering patients, collecting demographics and insurance information, explaining consent forms, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. PRN shifts and on-site work at Ardent - Hillcrest Cushing are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Must be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to improve processes and experiences

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks
• Handle insurance information collection and processing of physician orders
• Assist with pre-registration of patient accounts and outbound/inbound calls
• Explain consent forms and provide patient education documents
• Review insurance eligibility and support POS and billing processes
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and distribute related forms
