Job summary

Rue Gilt Groupe is seeking an OnCall/Part-Time Assistant Stylist onsite in Shepherdsville, KY to support Operations, Styling, Photography, and Features teams during photography production. The role focuses on organizing, preparing, and tracking merchandise to ensure efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include pulling, unpacking, steaming, and preparing apparel across women’s, men’s, and children’s lines; organizing racks; tagging and issue communication; and assisting with daily production

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, apparel, studio, or fashion styling experience is preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand and remain active for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Pull, scan, organize, and stage merchandise scheduled for photography.
• Unpack, hang, steam, and prepare women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel for production.
• Prepare merchandise for photography, including footwear, handbags, jewelry, and accessories.
• Organize product racks and ensure merchandise is delivered to studio locations and photography sets.
• Identify product tagging or tracking issues and communicate them for correction.
• Maintain vendor packaging, SKU tags, apparel tags, and other components during production.
• Support stylists with product preparation, set organization, and daily production needs.
• Repackage merchandise after production as needed and return to appropriate location.
• Learn and follow new processes to support workflow and changing business needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free workspace.
