Job summary

Rue Gilt Groupe is seeking a Studio Operations Associate in Shepherdsville, KY to manage sample inventory through pre-production, production, and post-production and to support styling, scheduling and shipping teams. This full-time role is based in the Shepherdsville studio and may become a regular full-time position after 90 days based on performance.

Responsibilities include tagging styles, staging samples, tracking deliveries, and assisting with packaging and shipments, while upholding safety

THE ROLE: Short-Term/ Full-time Studio Operations Associate

We’re looking for… The responsibility of the Studio Operations Associate is to manage sample inventory through the pre-production, production, and post-production process. The Studio Operations Associate will support other studio teams as needed to ensure styles are prepared for production. This position reports directly to the Lead Studio Operations associate and is based in the Shepherdsville, Kentucky studio location. This is currently a Short-term Full-time role but eligible for evaluation for a Regular Full-Time role and salary adjustment after 90 days, based on business needs and individual performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage sample inventory through the pre-production, production, and post-production process by following all standard operating procedures.

Receive and tag styles for production, capture sample PO errors, scan and stage samples in appropriate locations, and communicate effectively with all teams to ensure samples are ready for production.

Communicate on the status of deliveries, sign for deliveries, and sort packages to standard.

Assist the scheduling team by pulling, scanning and staging samples for production in appropriate studio locations.

Responsible for repackaging samples to standard after production complete (re-attaching tags, folding, and placing in polybags).

Support sample delivery process by using Fed Ex portal to create and email shipping labels for vendors and internal teams.

Prepare shipments for the Boston Studio production process.

Assist styling teams with steaming and prepping styles for production as needed.

Adheres to safety policies and calls out unsafe processes or behaviors.

Trains in new processes as needed to maximize workflow.

Other duties as assigned.

every stage of the production workflow. You are a proactive team player who thrives

in a dynamic environment, easily stepping in to support styling, scheduling, and

shipping whenever challenges arise. Methodical yet versatile, you take pride in

maintaining strict quality and safety standards while keeping cross-functional teams

aligned and studio operations running seamlessly.

Experience and background needed
  • Must be able to stand for up to approximately 8-10 hours
  • Must be able to lift parcels up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
Education
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D Certificate
Years of experience
  • Warehouse and/or sample management experience is a plus
Technical skills
  • Experience with Google Sheets and or Airtable is a plus
