KBW Financial Staffing is seeking a Part-Time Staff Accountant for the Lowell, MA area. The position is fully onsite and involves handling AP/AR, month-end close, payroll, and support for audits.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of accounting experience or an accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and a willingness to work in a manufacturing-influenced environment. Compensation is up to $40/hour DOE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience and/or an Accounting degree.
• Strong general accounting and Excel skills.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle AP and AR, including invoice processing, customer payments and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and assist with cash forecasting.
• Support annual audits, 1099s and other general accounting functions.
