Chamberlain University seeks qualified Mental Health Clinical Faculty (part-time) for the BSN program in Oklahoma. Teaching is onsite in clinical settings with our clinical partners.

Typical schedule includes 12-hour rotations (7a–7p) for three to four consecutive days. The role involves clinical instruction, supervision, evaluation, and potential didactic instruction under supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college.
• Unencumbered nursing license valid in Oklahoma.
• Minimum two years of nursing instruction experience in the last five years.
• Teaching or precepting experience preferred.
• Passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses.

Responsibilities

• Implements philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
• Owns all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments.
• Plans clinical experiences and provides supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Evaluates student performance and provides timely feedback.
• Available for remediation as required.
• Maintains knowledge of agency policies and procedures with mentors.
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned to learning needs.
• Grades homework, quizzes, tests, and clinical work promptly.
• May teach didactic content under supervision.
• Keeps course coordinator informed of student and agency issues.
• Reports to the dean or assistant dean; course coordinator provides oversight.
