Qualifications

Must have Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Unencumbered RN license in Oklahoma.
Illinois RN license required to teach all courses.
Active BLS certification.
At least two years of professional nursing instruction experience in the last five years.

Responsibilities

Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching.
Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
Makes self-available to staff at the agencies.
Evaluates and provides feedback to students based on course objectives.
Keeps course coordinator informed of student and agency issues and concerns.
Develops and posts written clinical assignments consistent with learning needs.
Contributes to ongoing development and evaluation of programs and the College.
May teach didactic content under supervision.
