Job summary

Chamberlain University in Oklahoma City seeks a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty member to mentor BSN students in an inpatient clinical setting. You will bridge classroom learning with real‑world patient care, guiding students through hands‑on practice and simulations to ensure safe, high‑quality care.

No teaching experience is required, but nurses with strong clinical backgrounds and an MSN are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
Unencumbered RN nursing license in Oklahoma.
Illinois RN License required to teach all courses.
Active BLS certification and recent instructional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Implements the college’s philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes and course objectives through clinical teaching.
Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care.
Remains available to staff and agencies to support student success.
Provides remediation, feedback and documentation on student performance.
Keeps up to date with agency policies and clinical expectations.
Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge and skills.
May teach didactic content under supervision and collaborates with the course coordinator.
