Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care under the direction of an RN or licensed provider. The role supports patient care, documentation, education for patients and families, and collaboration with the healthcare team on-site in Ohio.

Responsibilities include administering medications, contributing to care plans, and ensuring safety and quality in line with ACH standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
• Current, valid LPN license in the state of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care under the supervision of an RN or designated provider.
• Collect and monitor patient data including specimens and labs; communicate abnormal findings promptly.
• Participate in developing and implementing patient care and discharge plans under RN direction.
