The candidate will manage billing cycles, track project time with Deltek, and assist with project accounting and PoC methods. The role supports project managers and ownership, with room for expanding responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general financial record-keeping.
• Oversee invoicing cycle on a four-week cadence.
• Track project time by phase and task using Deltek.
• Prepare, review, and adjust draft project invoices with project managers.
• Support billing for fixed-fee and hourly projects using PoC methods.
• Track consultant/subcontractor disbursements across multiple projects.
• Reconcile project billing, payments, expenses, and related records.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and records.

Responsibilities

• Handle AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger tasks.
• Process and review invoices on a four-week cycle.
• Monitor time and costs by project phase for PoC billing.
• Assist with drafting and finalizing project invoices.
• Support billing for fixed-fee and hourly projects.
• Manage consultant payments and subvendor disbursements.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of billing, payments, and expenses.
• Keep organized financial records and respond to discrepancies.
