Job summary

Boutique Recruiting seeks a paralegal for a litigation-focused office in Las Cruces, NM. Two-attorney team, plaintiff personal injury docket; mentors available; on-site role with growth to senior/lead paralegal. Strong ownership of case files and deadlines required.

Responsibilities include drafting petitions and motions, managing discovery and e-filing, and coordinating with a litigation assistant and staff across offices. Spanish bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong multitasking and deadline management with a proactive approach.
• Collaborative, personable, and willing to help wherever the team needs it.
• Onsite at Las Cruces, NM; bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support two attorneys on a fully litigated plaintiff personal injury caseload.
• Draft petitions, complaints, and motions and manage motion practice.
• Handle e-filing of court documents.
• Manage heavy discovery, including discovery calendaring.
• Track case tasks and deadlines proactively across multiple active matters.
• Coordinate with the litigation assistant and support staff in each office.
• Take ownership of case progress and keep attorneys informed of upcoming deadlines.
