Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Control Panel Technician for our Windsor, CT location. This onsite role involves machining and assembling standard and custom control panels, wiring from diagrams, and testing finished units in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Electrical background or certification is a plus; candidates should be comfortable with hand

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings and schematics.
• Ability to read engineering documentation and blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining and assembly of standard and custom control panels.
• Wire from diagrams and schematics.
• Drill, tap, hole punch, and cutouts in enclosures and panels.
• Assemble control panels with components including PLCs and relays.
• Test functional operation and troubleshoot as needed.
