Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Level II onsite technician to provide efficient service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at protein processor plants. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to travel up to 75%+.

You will install, repair, and support equipment, ensuring top performance and safety. Education via technical degree or equivalent is preferred, with Megatronics training a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent in electrical or mechanical technology or related field.
• Megatronics training and certification are preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in the food packaging industry (materials & machinery).
• Willing to travel 75%+ and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Service customer equipment to maintain optimum performance.
• Provide preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for packaging equipment.
• Install and start up packaging equipment; support design/installation with customers.
• Complete reporting and expense documentation promptly.
