Job summary

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative with Electrical experience for an industrial plant project in Cordova, IL.

You will monitor electrical contractors, ensure wiring and devices meet project designs, codes, and space ratings, and serve as the on-site liaison between engineering and construction teams. The role demands strong NEC expertise, OSHA 30, and 12+ years in industrial or heavy commercial work.

Qualifications

• 12 years of industrial/heavy commercial experience.
• Strong electrical construction experience in light/heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical classified environments (Class 1, Division 1).
• Solid knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Excellent communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between engineering and construction contractors, supervising on-site work to ensure safety and contractual compliance.
• Oversee permitting procedures and ensure contractors perform in line with owner guidelines; not performing maintenance or labor.
