Job summary

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative with Electrical experience for a project at an industrial plant in Cordova, IL. You will monitor electrical contractors and ensure wiring, switches, and devices meet project design, codes, and space ratings.

Responsibilities include coordinating between engineering and on-site contractors, ensuring safety and contract compliance, and supervising permitting procedures. No maintenance or manual labor is required.

Qualifications

• 12 years previous experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work required.
• Strong electrical construction experience in the light or heavy manufacturing industry.
• Strong experience with electrical classified environment (Class 1, Division 1).
• Well versed in the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Excellent communication skills & computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between engineering & construction contractors, overseeing contractors on site to ensure safety and contract compliance.
• Oversee contractors performing work in accordance with owner guidelines and specifications; oversee permitting procedures.
• You will NOT be performing maintenance and physical labor.
