Job summary

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative with electrical experience for an industrial plant project in Cordova, IL. You will monitor electrical contractors and ensure wiring, switches, and devices meet project designs, codes, and space ratings.

The role involves liaising between engineering and construction teams, supervising on-site work for safety and contract compliance, and overseeing permitting procedures. Duration: Nov 12, 2026 to Jun 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in industrial and/or heavy commercial work.
• Strong electrical construction experience in light or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical classified environments (Class 1, Division 1).
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Excellent communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to navigate political aspects of a large corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical contractors on site to ensure safety and contract compliance.
• Liaise between engineering & construction contractors to monitor adherence to owner guidelines and permit procedures.
• Do not perform maintenance or physical labor; ensure work aligns with project design documents.
