Froedtert Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at our Froedtert Men Falls Hospital facility in Menomonee Falls, WI. The role provides technical and clerical support to the pharmacist in processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy, with responsibilities including procuring, measuring, compounding, counting, and delivering medications under supervision.

The position is on-site, full-time with standard 40-hour weeks, and requires a Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a hospital pharmacy department is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam (PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy.
• Procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under supervision.
• Follow Wisconsin statutes and Pharmacy Examining Board guidelines.
