Inherent Technologies, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking an OT Security Analyst to oversee SOC operations during assigned shifts and coordinate with teams to protect OT/ICS environments.

The role concentrates on incident handling, alert analysis, rule optimization for OT protocols, and developing playbooks. A strong background in OT security, 5–7 years' cybersecurity experience, and certifications are preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a cybersecurity-focused role; SOC experience strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of direct OT/ICS experience with hands-on knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Advanced OT security certifications (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, CySA+, CEH, OSCP, GICSP, CCNA Security).
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Knowledge of OT protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 104, OPC UA).
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, IIDS/IPS, and endpoint/network security tools.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee SOC operations during assigned shifts and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Lead investigations and response to complex OT security incidents with cross-team coordination.
• Analyze security alerts and logs to identify indicators of compromise in OT/ICS environments.
• Make real-time decisions on incident severity, containment, and escalation for Tier 1 & 2 analysts.
• Develop, test, and implement OT-focused detection rules and use cases in the SIEM/SOC toolset.
• Create and maintain incident response playbooks and SOPs based on lessons learned and threat intel.
• Mentor Tier 1 & 2 analysts in incident handling and OT security concepts.
