Job summary

Targa Resources in Tulsa, OK is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across OT environments. You will collaborate with IT/OT teams, business stakeholders, and operations to safeguard industrial systems while supporting reliability and availability of critical operations.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on OT/ICS experience, expertise in vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response, and will drive remediation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Information Security, Engineering, or related field; equivalent combo of education and experience considered.
• 8+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, industrial automation, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years direct experience securing ICS/SCADA/OT environments.
• Expertise in SCADA/OT systems, vulnerability management, asset inventory, ICS cybersecurity, OT endpoint protection per vendor recommendations, detection engineering, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and PERA model.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize OT cybersecurity platforms and security-related applications.
• Monitor, triage, investigate, and remediate OT cybersecurity alerts from security tools and monitoring systems.
• Identify cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and threats impacting OT environments, systems, and applications.
• Develop and fine-tune threat detection to improve visibility and security posture.
• Lead and support incident response activities, including evidence preservation, forensics, and malware analysis.
• Implement endpoint and application hardening to reduce risk and improve resilience.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and testing, develop remediation recommendations, track actions to resolution.
• Enhance SOAR capabilities to accelerate threat detection, analysis, and incident response workflows.
• Evaluate controls and provide strategic recommendations to improve OT cybersecurity maturity.
• Independently lead projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with business leaders and operations to align cybersecurity priorities with business needs.
