Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an RN with at least one year of experience for an onsite role anchored at Riley Downtown, with coverage at IU Health North in Carmel and IU Health Fishers. The team includes Athletic Trainers, RNs, MAs, Cast Technicians, and several physicians.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no weekends or holidays. Requires ASN; BSN preferred; Indiana RN licensure or NLC; BLS; and other certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may apply with >2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• BLS certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit.
• May assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Awareness of legal implications of patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ambulatory/orthopedic care including casting, suture and staple removal, wound checks.
• Place DME/bracing and perform office-based bracing procedures.
• Collaborate with a team across Riley Downtown, IU Health North (Carmel), and IU Health Fishers.
