Job description

Overview

IU Health is seeking a dedicated RN for our Podiatry clinic located at 1801 N. Senate Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202. This full‑time onsite position will lead clinic operations and perform a variety of patient care duties, including rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing up injections, wound care, post‑operative care, patient education, triaging messages, completing disability paperwork, surgery screening, care coordination, and discharge planning for post‑surgical patients. Occasional travel to other sites may be required. The RN will be part of a specialized podiatry setting, providing comprehensive care and support to patients.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. No weekends or holidays.

Benefits

Part and full‑time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of RN experience.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may be considered for candidates with more than two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA; additional advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
• Ability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction (may be required).
• Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities as a Registered Nurse.
