Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Training and Development professional to administer a range of learning programs at our Sugar Land, TX facility. The role focuses on onboarding, safety, SOPs, and continuous improvement for associates across distribution operations.

Strong data analytics, presentation skills, and experience with Learning Management Systems are essential. This onsite position requires up to 20% travel and offers comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a four-year bachelor's degree and five years' experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Training experience is highly preferred.
• Warehouse experience desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to train others and established learning objectives in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong presentation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers training programs for associates, including compliance, safety, specific job function training and related SOPs.
• Oversees training in all key areas of warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, QC, pick, pack, inventory systems).
• Determines training needs and communicates them to management; assists with development of training aids and materials.
• Gathers content and designs materials; meets timelines and communicates risks to project lead.
• Recommends changes to course material and training manuals to meet needs.
• Participates in testing and piloting of new training programs.
• Assesses associates' skills and performance; prepares evaluations and improvement plans.
• Onboards new hires and manages training curriculum; identifies skill gaps and future needs.
• Administers post-training evaluations and tracks performance outcomes.
• Implements measurement strategies and monitors effectiveness.
• Willing to work extended hours and travel up to 20%.
