Job summary

Alta Resource Technologies seeks a safety-conscious Plant Operator to join our Operations team in Boulder, CO. The role supports safe operation, maintenance and improvement of the Demonstration Facility, collaborating with R&D and engineering to inform commercial design.

On-site presence is required. Key tasks include equipment operation, maintenance, sample collection and analysis, reporting results, and participating in hazard studies and audits to ensure environmental responsibility and

Qualifications

• Technology diploma or equivalent with 2+ years operating industrial equipment.
• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years operating industrial equipment.
• Mechanically inclined; able to troubleshoot and fix equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs; good math and reporting skills.
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate all process equipment via PLC/field, including pumps, valves, and compressors.
• Perform safe work following SOPs; report all HSE incidents promptly.
• Record and monitor equipment data and process parameters from gauges and systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems; coordinate with engineers and R&D.
• Maintain and modify plant equipment per approved designs; collect samples for analyses.
