Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Technician to guide a team of technicians on-site. You will provide technical expertise, drive process improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and TPM adherence within the cell.

Your role will include leading standard work, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to sustain efficient production. The ideal candidate has strong lean manufacturing knowledge, proven leadership, and hands-on experience with manufacturing

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and tools, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Ability to lead a team effectively and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and assist a team of manufacturing technicians and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee daily manufacturing performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Implement process improvements and troubleshooting techniques to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Assure all equipment and tooling are working as expected to assure performance.
• Help establish TPM and process monitoring to validate process compliance.
• Audit SOS adherence within the cell to assure operator and processing equipment compliance.
• Assist in rapid problem solving to find the source of process/product variation and escapes from the cell.
• Strong utilization and development of standard work to assure consistent product and process flow throughout the cell.
