Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Proficiency operating CMV and maneuvering in loading/unloading scenarios.
• FMCSA medical requirements and pre-employment checks.
• 3 years equipment operator experience.
• Ability to learn software where necessary.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Problem-solving and leadership under pressure.
• Safety-conscious with FMCSA/DOT adherence.

Responsibilities

• Supervises onsite drivers and maintains a safe, OSHA-compliant workplace.
• Enforces loading, unloading, and tipping procedures.
• Manages staff levels and hours to minimize overtime.
• Monitors and coaches employee performance with the Terminal Manager.
• Tracks daily yard activity and ensures DVIR compliance.
• Coordinates with maintenance and vendors for equipment service.
• Ensures PPE and safety requirements are followed.
• Performs FMCSA pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintains yard, truck, and office cleanliness.
• Serves as the communication link between customer plants and drivers.
