Job summary

Envision Innovative Solutions is seeking an Operations Specialist for an onsite role at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The candidate will coordinate events, manage facilities, and handle security-related tasks including clearances and escort duties.

Required is an associate degree or technical schooling with at least three years of relevant experience, plus skills in SOP writing, procurement, and floor plan development. SharePoint and DISS familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years technical school in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or related field. 8 years of additional direct relevant technical experience may substitute for education.
• A minimum three (3) years’ relevant experience.
• Experience writing SOPs
• Experience managing facilities
• Experience developing floor plans
• Emergency management/ readiness experience
• Procurement experience ( GOV GPC process)

Responsibilities

• Tracking special duty and ad hoc actions
• Planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Developing and managing event timelines, logistics, and associated event costs
• Supporting coordination of venue selection, catering, audio/visual needs, transportation, security, and onsite support
• Preparing event materials, attendee communications, and post-event summaries
• Tracking and managing internal communications and workflow using SharePoint or other designated systems
• Verifying security clearances, providing security access badging, providing SMO code via DISS, and coordinate escort duties
• Participating in recurring meetings
• Preparing quarterly/annual reports
• Participating in IPTs and coordination meetings
• Attending and coordinating high visibility visits with scheduling, agendas, transportation, meals, and briefing packages
• Safeguarding and delivering Government material
• Coordinating and aligning meetings
• Preparing meeting minutes
• Developing materials or presenting training for professional development
