Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business, is seeking an hourly Operations Excellence associate to support NBAS strategic goals through continuous improvement in manufacturing. The role focuses on time studies, training OpX technicians, and facilitating standard work deployment across production floors.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in production manufacturing or related education with 3+ years experience, plus strong project management and communication skills to lead cross-functional improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production manufacturing or a related degree with 3+ years production experience.
• Experience leading CORE/OpEx events and SPS, MSW, 5S Visual Factory.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform time studies to support engineered standards.
• Provide training for OpX technicians.
• Recommend and participate in continuous improvement activities including visual factory rollout and productivity improvements.
• Help create and modify manufacturing standard work.
• Document improvement events and ensure standard work adherence and proper tool usage.
• Provide coaching to leadership to deploy Standard Production System processes and tools.
• Mentor incoming OPEX BU Technicians.
