Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Scientist for a 7-month contract in the Oncology Research and Development team at Cambridge Crossing. The role is heavily wet-lab oriented, contributing to cancer biology research, target identification, and drug discovery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including medicinal chemistry and bioinformatics to advance projects, analyze data, and prepare technical reports and publications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Conduct full-time laboratory-based research supporting target identification, oncology drug discovery and development.
• Execute molecular biology, cellular biology, and biochemical assays, including maintenance and manipulation of 2D and 3D cell cultures (spheroids and organoids).
• Perform lentiviral and nucleofection-based gene transfer and genome editing (CRISPR/Cas9, Cas12, shRNA/siRNA).
• Assess cell viability and cytotoxicity using IncuCyte, CellTiter-Glo, CyQUANT, and clonogenic assays.
• Conduct large-scale functional genetic and phenotypic screens.
• Execute RT-qPCR and western blot, and prepare samples for RNA-seq.
• Co-immunoprecipitation and other protein interaction studies; perform immunoassays (ELISA, MSD).
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex cell-based assays; collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance project goals.
