Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator on a contract basis in Devens, MA. You will manage pre-onboarding logistics, greet new employees, guide system onboarding, and coordinate multi-day schedules with IT, HR, and operations.

Strong HRIS knowledge and excellent communication are essential. The role requires 3+ years in onboarding or training coordination, with a flexible schedule including early mornings and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of HR, Onboarding, or Training Coordination experience.
• Familiarity with UKG, Envoy, Docebo, Slack, and Okta.
• Knowledge of basic HR principles.
• Flexibility for early-morning remote/asynchronous support for technicians.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to prioritize the employee experience and stay adaptable.
• Attention to detail and ability to track multiple cohorts.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to take initiative, multitask, and work in a fast-paced organization.

Responsibilities

• Support Employee Onboarding: pre-onboarding logistics and MES ticket submissions.
• Act as primary contact for new employees, greet arrivals, and verify documents.
• Lead initial facility tours and coordinate guided manufacturing floor tours.
• Guide onboarding for core apps and access (UKG, Email/Slack, Envoy, Docebo, Manufacturo).
• Coordinate multi-day onboarding schedules with stakeholders.
• Distribute onboarding folders and PPE overview.
• Monitor training progress via Docebo and provide remote Slack support.
• Resolve onboarding issues using escalation matrix.
• Provide People Operations support and cross-functional collaboration.
