ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC in Smyrna, TN is hiring a Medical Assistant to support occupational care on-site for a large manufacturer. The role involves patient intake, vital signs, exam preparation, and assisting clinicians with both acute and chronic injuries.

Ideal candidates have MA certification or eligibility, CPR/AED, and strong teamwork. Medical office experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred. Full-time, day shift, Mon–Fri 6 AM–2 PM. Comprehensive benefits offered.

Competenze

• Certification as Medical Assistant from a recognized body or eligibility.
• Two years’ patient care experience in a health center/doctor’s office.
• CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it before starting.
• Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the shift.
• Occupational health experience is a plus.
• High level of professionalism and customer service in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; maintain confidentiality.
• Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Mansioni

• Greets and escorts patients to exam areas and measures vitals.
• Prepares treatment rooms for exams.
• Assists with care of acute and chronic occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Disinfects and cleans rooms following exams; maintains safe, healthy environment.
• Stocks exam rooms, maintains instruments, and prepares sterilization.
• Aids in supply inventory and logs (refrigerated temps, etc.).
• Administers first aid support and operates equipment (EKG, Spirometry, X-ray).
• Performs injections or treatments as ordered; maintains records for compliance.
• Performs front desk administrative tasks.
