Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for O&M in the Baltimore/DC area. This onsite role supports daily operations, coordinates maintenance activities and assists with budgeting and contract compliance.

You will interact with clients, subcontractors and site teams, learning all aspects of project operations. Ideal candidates have strong communication, detailed planning skills, and willingness to learn on-the-job.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to read and interpret contract documents.
Excellent organization, time management and follow-through in a fast-paced O&M environment.
Proficient with MS Office applications and project coordination tools.
Ability to read, understand, interpret, and work from contracts, SOWs, specs and schedules.
Experience with coordinating onsite personnel, subcontractors and client communications.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager with daily O&M activities, priorities, schedules and project requirements.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, inspections and facility projects.
Participate in facility walkthroughs to understand HVAC, electrical, mechanical and building systems.
Track open actions and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and per contract.
Maintain project records, communicate status, and support contract deliverables.
