Job summary

Gordian is seeking a Project Manager to oversee administrative and operational aspects of construction and facility projects tied to the NYC School Construction Authority. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, alignment with customer specs, and adherence to Gordian standards, with strong leadership and communication throughout.

The role focuses on coordinating with SCA stakeholders, managing scopes, schedules, budgets, risk, and compliance across five boroughs, on-site in NYC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in construction procurement, management, or general contracting, with NYC project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NYC regulatory requirements for project filing, permitting, inspection, and closeout (DOB, FDNY, DOT, DEP).

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, pre-construction, and development of scopes of work.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and coordinate with schools and SCA officials.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance, reviewing plans and estimates.
• Manage contract changes, budgets, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Train and support project teams in Gordian software and procedures.
