Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a qualified SCA Project Officer to oversee multi-faceted construction projects in New York City. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills to manage both design and construction phases effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience, including a valid New York driver’s license. The compensation ranges from $95,000 to $135,000, including comprehensive benefits and a retirement program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-time experience as a technical specialist in one or more construction design fields.
• Valid driver’s license in New York State.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and coordination of construction activities for complex projects.
• Ensure quality and compliance in both design and construction.
• Make decisions to expedite timely completion of the construction process.
• Resolve issues and problems raised in field reports from architects and staff.
