Job summary

TerraPower LLC in Bellevue, WA, leads on-site engineering support for the Natrium Demonstration Project near Kemmerer, WY. This role oversees a multidisciplinary team ensuring design, licensing, and safety requirements are met throughout construction.

The role requires 10–15 years of related experience with 5–7 years in leadership, plus nuclear design familiarity and strong stakeholder coordination. On-site work with opportunities for growth and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear facility design, construction support, or field engineering.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams (5–7 years) in dynamic, schedule-driven projects.
• Interfacing with construction, procurement, QA, licensing, and regulators to resolve issues.
• Strong understanding of nuclear design and licensing requirements and QA programs.
• Ability to obtain site access and security clearances.
• Familiarity with nuclear codes (NQA-1, ASME Section III/VIII, B31.1, B31.3, ACI-349, 318, AISC N690).

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and oversight of a multidisciplinary support team.
• Develop staffing plans based on project needs and schedules.
• Manage non-engineering tasks for Site Design Engineering such as metrics, staff travel support, training.
• Drive continuous improvement for the SDE organization.
• Identify training opportunities and foster growth within Natrium program.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and indoctrination of new onsite team members.
• Interface with stakeholders including construction, licensing, QA, regulators, and home office.
• Resolve priority conflicts and allocate resources across engineering tasks.
