Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3 years of nuclear experience as an engineer or project manager, is able to travel 10–15%, and can operate onsite in Glendale or Tonopah, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related).
• Design engineering experience with modification and implementation in power facilities.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
• Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic project discussions and align your team to meet quality and deadlines while keeping clients informed.
• Manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities, motivating the team to turn challenges into wins.
• Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and act as a technical leader to ensure quality and goals.
• Plan, execute, and finalize projects within schedule and budget; report on financial status.
• Develop winning engineering proposals in collaboration with technical staff and support marketing efforts.
