Job summary

WMFHA in Ferndale, WA is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure proper operation and upkeep of manufacturing equipment and plant support systems. This on-site role runs Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM.

Candidates should have mechanical, electrical and fabrication experience, welding skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; three years of related experience is required. On-call work may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of electrical, mechanical, and fabrication experience is required.
• Experience in bottling/packaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of machinery repairs and services.
• Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Alert the Team Leader of any unusual occurrence or damage.
• Maintain a professional manner with vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure compliance of all work activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
• Follow established company policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and written instructions in English.
• Other duties as assigned.
