Job summary
WMFHA is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and facility systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and guide less-experienced technicians while managing spare parts inventory and driving efficiency across the plant.
Role requires 5-10+ years in industrial maintenance and strong PLC/electrical skills. 1st shift (6:00 am - 3:00 pm) with OT opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years in industrial or facility maintenance, including high-volume conveying systems.
- 5+ years with PLCs and advanced electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with motors, electrical controls, water systems, washers, and high-volume operations.
- Background in welding, piping, and boiler/heating systems.
- Experience maintaining doors, forklifts, and office infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical or electrical safety issues.
- Evaluate equipment needs and implement improvements to reduce downtime.
- Maintain purchasing and inventory controls for spare parts and tools.
- Support installations, equipment startups, and facility projects.
- Provide guidance to junior technicians and mentor staff.
- Plan corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities.
- Participate in training warehouse and operations personnel.
