Job summary

DKW Communications, Inc. is seeking a Network/Systems Administrator to join our team in San Diego, CA. The role supports the Nay SWMTS contract and requires active security clearance and IT systems expertise.

The position focuses on OS installation, software management, backups, network setup, switches configuration, and information assurance within a Navy-ship modelling context. Onsite work with government contracting expectations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance or higher is required.
• Graduate of accredited technical or computer school with related training.
• 5 years of relevant work experience in installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of electronics equipment in a networked environment.
• 1–2 years of experience building and configuring within ACAS.
• 1–2 years of experience in the Information Assurance field.
• IAT Level I Certification or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and update Operating Systems.
• Software installation and administration.
• Perform backup procedures.
• Set up a network to support modelling/simulation and emulating shipboard systems.
• Install and configure network switches.
• Demonstrate Information Assurance competency.
• Maintain IT skills and Systems Administration background.
