Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer/Computer Network Architect to design, deploy, and secure federal networks across LAN/WAN environments. You will ensure mission-critical systems meet security and performance goals, coordinating with architecture and security teams.

The role requires 10+ years of related experience, a Top Secret/SCI clearance, and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph. On-site work at customer sites in the Washington, DC area is expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 10+ years of related IT/network experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; CI Polygraph desirable.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Proficient with TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VRFs; Cisco routers/switches, Nexus, firewalls.
• Experience with NetApp storage; SAN/NAS/iSCSI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, configure, deploy, upgrade, and support LANs/WANs and data systems.
• Lead delivery of mission-critical systems across multiple data centers.
• Coordinate with Systems Architect, Security, and PM for alignment on initiatives.
• Provide day-to-day on-site support for customer networks and storage.
• Install secure network devices and implement firewall policies; monitor with SIEM.
