Job summary

STI is seeking a Field Tech Specialist in Raleigh, NC to support the Wake County Courthouse. The role is on-site with travel up to 20% statewide.

Responsibilities include LAN hardware/software support, deployments, and user training, with a focus on integrating diverse systems and ensuring reliable IT operations. The successful candidate will have a technical degree plus IT experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with court staff and government officials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and one year of IT experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Windows, SCCM/MECM, BitLocker, network hardware, and LAN/WAN concepts.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN hardware and software (servers, routers, switches, and telecom equipment).
• Interface with court staff and government officials; provide customer support across counties per SLA.
• Assist in hardware/software configurations, moves, and deployments; provide staff training when needed.
