Job summary

PEAKE in California seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and sustain enterprise network solutions onsite. The role requires active DoD security clearance, 5+ years of hands-on networking, and collaboration with senior engineers on deployments.

You will oversee installation, troubleshooting, and documentation while mentoring junior staff. Travel is required with onsite work in California and all travel expenses covered by PEAKE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on networking experience in DoD or enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco/Aruba platforms and network architectures.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate with project teams.
• Experience with rack, cabling, labeling, and power configuration.
• Excellent communication for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient with network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise network solutions onsite in California.
• Lead installation, setup, and testing of networking equipment per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot, document, and escalate complex network issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project leads on end-to-end deployments.
• Provide clear technical reports and status updates to stakeholders.
