Job summary

PEAKE is seeking a Network Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking systems on customer sites in California, with travel of 8 weeks on site followed by 10 days offsite. This role requires active DoD clearance and hands-on Cisco/Aruba experience.

You will mentor junior staff, work with senior engineers on design and deployment, and produce clear documentation and status updates while adhering to SOPs and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba networking platforms in enterprise/DoD environments.
• Strong knowledge of physical infrastructure: cabling, racking, stacking, power configuration.
• Advanced troubleshooting across OSI Model layers with documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise network solutions onsite.
• Lead troubleshooting and escalate complex issues with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver end-to-end network deployments.
• Engage customers, provide quality technical support, and communicate risks and status.
• Maintain accurate configuration records and generate technical reports.
