Job summary

Hill AFB is seeking a Network Controller to safeguard DISN services and provide real-time incident management for warfighters and national leaders in a 24x7 operations environment. The role is onsite at Hill AFB, Utah, requiring an active Secret clearance and expert fault analysis across DoDIN networks.

You will monitor, notify, and resolve network incidents, maintain an error database, and coordinate global equipment configurations to restore baseline operations while ensuring mission assurance

Qualifications

• Familiar with DoDIN, DISN services and incident management.
• Strong analytical and fault-isolation skills across IT architectures.
• Requires active security clearance (Secret).

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Incident Triage: monitor network events 24/7 and prioritize tickets in Remedy.
• Fault isolation and analysis: identify root causes of infrastructure faults and failed elements.
• Global notifications: inform key contacts based on incident location and awareness.
• Problem resolution: maintain a centralized known-error database with defects and repairs.
• Fault correction: perform repairs, replacements, and configure equipment to restore operations.
• Global situational awareness: provide oversight to ensure mission assurance across the enterprise.
