Job summary

SUI is seeking a Network Administrator to oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure for the company and its client base. You will ensure server health, network security, and disaster recovery readiness while supporting distributed teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, AD, DNS, and security tooling, plus strong scripting abilities. This position is on-site in Glen Allen, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or Network Administrator.
• Proficient in Windows Server 2019, Windows 10/11.
• Familiarity with VLANs and network infrastructure setup.
• Web infrastructure experience (IIS, DNS, certificates) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management & Support: manage data communications and server infrastructure.
• Monitor data communications and server infrastructure to ensure system availability during business hours.
• Manage multi-site Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP configurations.
• Maintain documentation (IP management, access controls, diagrams).
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline routine tasks.
• Oversee private cloud (Hyper-V) infrastructure and VM deployment.
