Job summary

STEP, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems & Network Administrator to manage and secure our IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.

You will implement security controls, monitor performance, and support staff in a mission-driven environment. This role offers hands-on work across multiple technologies while helping shape enterprise IT strategy.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of experience managing Microsoft server operating systems and networks.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and VPN.
• Strong understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity basics.
• Experience supporting staff across departments and training non-technical users.
• Associate degree or higher preferred in related field.

• Maintain and secure Windows servers and network devices.
• Configure and manage virtualization platforms and cloud services.
• Implement security controls and monitor systems for threats.
• Plan and test disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
